Sales of steel plates in the German market

You will join DanSteel A/S in Denmark, which is part of the NLMK Steel Group and one of the most profitable steel groups in the world, with 70,000 employees worldwide.

The job:
We offer an exciting position for a fluent German speaker. You will build on existing sales of steel plates into Germany from DanSteel A/S and further develop these in the future, targeting the whole steel consuming sector in Germany.

You will be selling steel plates from DanSteel A/S into a wide range of customers, such as stockholders / resellers, yellow goods, bridge builders, pipe manufactures, boiler & pressure vessel fabricators, con-struction industries, offshore sector etc.

The job will involve travelling in the Ruhr area and in North Germany. 

Profile:
We are looking for a person with experience in sales of steel plates in the German market.

The key words to describe the right person would be; ability to handle pressure, confident, self motivated, organised, commercial aware, good relationship builder, good closing skills, and creative with skills to match a demanding position in the German steel market.

Successful B2B sales experience in the steel plate sector is required, and the person is most likely working for a steel mill, a steel end-user, a steel stockholder etc.

Ideal location would be in the Ruhr area, and the person must have experience in sales of steel plates, ideally with some technical knowledge as well.

Languages: German (written and verbal) and English (verbal). Written English is not prerequisite for this job, but would be a bonus.
