Cutting of mother slabs

The new cutting lines for mother slabs are now in daily production.

 DanSteel A/S has by starting to use new cutting lines achieved a number of advantages including:

•  It is now possible to cut slabs of 2700 mm width

•  The cutting speed and thus cutting capacity has increased

•  Better accuracy on length measuring of baby slabs is achieved

•  Safety to cut perpendicular has increased

•  Better logistics and less transport costs

In addition to the above mentioned, the working environment for employees who operate the equipment have been dramatically improved.
