DanSteel A/S is a new company, but built on many years of experience. It was established in 2002 in continuation of Danish Steel Works Ltd., which was founded in 1940.
DanSteel A/S is ideally located in Frederiksvaerk in Denmark, less than one hour from Copenhagen, close to large reserves of cooling water from natural freshwater reservoirs and has its own harbour facilities. The company lives up to the expectations of the market regarding both flexibility and a well-balanced financial situation.
DanSteel A/S's manufacturing processes are being developed with every consideration for environmental impact being carefully weighted.
Production methods are continuously modernised, and the primary source of energy today is natural gas.
DanSteel A/S receives its raw materials from Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) in Lipetsk, 500 km south of Moscow. Every week, ships carrying high quality slabs - the basic material for steel plates - arrive from NLMK and unload in DanSteel A/S' own harbour facilities.
